Utah Jazz lose after 4 strait road games
The Utah Jazz after winning 4 strait games on the road. After beating LA clippers in double OT 109-107, they go on a 4 game road trip. They beat Miami in OT 116-114, Orlando Magic 104-94, Altlanta 90-86, and Charlotte 96-95. Then they come back home to face the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Jazz started on fire with Derron Williams shooting 4 for 4 at the 3 point in the first quarter. Then it was all down hill from there. Fesenko got elbowed in the mouth when one of the Thunder players got the rebound and Fesenko and him were tied up and he just started throwing them all over the place. They actually called a foul on Fesenko, and then he left to the locker room to get stitched up. And if you think thats crazy well here’s more. After about 3 minutes after Fesenko left for the locker room Earl Watson gets elbowed in the mouth also. They called a foul on him to. Then On a thunder inbound paly in the fourth quarter with the Jazz up by 1, CJ Miles is guarding Kevin Durant. CJ is chaceing Durant and then Durant cuts toward the half quart line and then cuts back and shoves CJ, and CJ goes to the ground and they call a foul on CJ! Thats NBA officiating when they reforie for Utah. The refories in the game were unbelieveable. The thunder ended up shooting 18 more free throws than the jazz which was about double what the Jazz shot. At one point in the 4th quarter one of the Thunder players shoot a 3 pointer and it bounces off the rim, goes over the backboard, and they continue to play, with Steve Gavey standing under the hoop. Its not like he cants see it, but you know the Jazz are up at that point he cant allow the Jazz to win. Then Ak gets the rebound. Then one of the thunder players shove Ak out of bounds and they call out of bounds on UTAH! No foul, no out of bounds when it went over the back board, but out of bounds on UTAH! I went crazy! But then the head official came over and over ruled him and gave the ball to Utah. Steve Gavey sure tried, but that one was just too obvious. But Gavey sure did give them a lot of free throws.
The Jazz ended up losing 115-108. After the game Jerry Sloan said something like “We could have won if we could find a way do defend at the free throw line.”
